{Pumpkin} Patch

Pumpkin patches are the best. We showed up tonight at the perfect time. The lighting was great and it wasn't crowded, yet.

{A} is turning into a silly smiler... Bummer! And Baby {E} just loves having her mouth wide open. But they sure are cute no matter what.

 See, wide open. But those blue eyes...

 {A} refused to let me take off the sticker from his shirt. He says he needs it on so everyone will know that his shirt will glow in the dark.

This was about 1 second before {A} started climbing through the hole to look at Baby {E}

At least one of them is looking... at the camera.

And because I didn't get one good one of her smiling, here is a phone picture. She's the best!

Oh How I Love {Arizona}

Last week Drhubby had a couple interviews for an Endocrinology fellowship. One was in Phoenix. I love Phoenix. Call me crazy, but it's my favorite. It is so so hot, but I still love it. I can't even describe or put into words why. Anyway I told hubby if he ever had an interview I was flying out too and visiting my friends. And that is exactly what I did. I flew solo with both kiddos and met him there. It was the best. I didn't want to leave. We didn't want to leave. Our hearts belong in Arizona.

 She's a blue eyed pacifier loving babe just like big brother.

These two cuties are just a few weeks apart.

Silly boys

{A} was so sad and teary saying goodbye. He has such a tender little heart.

The Phoenix Temple. We moved before it was finished. I can't wait to go back and go inside.

One more interview here in San Antonio and then we have a huge decision to make. Stay here or move back. My heart is torn. I have made some of the very best friends here in San Antonio, but my heart aches to be back in Arizona. Where do you vote we go?

A Fallish {Spring}

Wait, what? What is a Fallish Spring? That doesn't make any sense! Well, in San Antonio, the leaves on most of the trees never actually change colors and fall off in the Fall. They just hang around all winter until the new leaves come in the Spring and push them off. It is very confusing for a toddler. Little {A} keeps asking if its Fall and if all the trees will change colors. I tell him, No it's Spring. It just kind of looks like Fall too.

Now do you know what I mean by a Fallish Spring? I love Spring here! Especially this year. Our grass in our backyard is so green! The wildflowers and Blue Bonnets are starting to bloom everywhere. It's mostly perfect temperatures. It's perfect.

A Little {Behind}

So I know it has been awhile. And I really wish I had a great excuse as to why I haven't been blogging. But honestly I've been lazy and out of the habit. But today I finally buckled down and edited most of my Utah pictures from my {not so} recent trip.

Here is a little preview of what I'm working on.

Little {A} in all his shark glory on Halloween.

Anyone know where/what these are?

More to come in the next little while. I hope...

{F}amily

Last month Steve had a pretty good work schedule and was so awesome to watch Alex while I had some photo shoots with a few families.

{J} Family

(This is my favorite location I've found so far in Texas!)

I am so blessed to have great friends that let me awkwardly take their pictures. I hope I'm getting better at being less awkward. :)

{Fall}

 Oh Fall, I miss you so. It's been a long time since I've seen you. Like 4 years. That is way too long. Okay Arizona got close to Utah Fall, but Texas? Nope. It's so green here! I miss the colors, the smells, and the briskness in the air. It's halfway through October and it is still summer. This year I have been so homesick for Fall. It is crazy! I have never really felt like this. It must be the new place. Texas is great. So pretty. But very different. I have never lived somewhere with so many trees! It is borderline claustrophobic sometimes. I need open fields, tall mountains, grass; real grass! Okay enough complaining. I should be counting my blessings. It's green here! It's warm here! It rains here! There are beautiful clouds almost every day! It doesn't snow here! This weekend we, as in my family and my bestie's family, went to a pumpkin patch. It was a beautiful 30 minute scenic drive out there. The only bad thing is we found out our new car does NOT have cruise control. What?! I know, so crazy. Oh well, it was still great to get away from the city and breath some fresh country air!

Here are a few pics from our trip.

 Sweet {E}. Little A got jealous at one point and hopped in front of the camera!

Sweet sweaty {B}, we have the same hair. I promise mine was worse!

These two!

 Cheesy {A}

I had a little fun with photoshop with the last two :) {A} kept saying "One more jump, one more"

 We had such a fun time. It was humid, but not too hot. It was fun to walk through all the Christmas trees. A and B loved playing in the hay. It was a Fall activity in summer weather basically.  It was the closest to Fall I could get.
